The present position is that the Penin- sular and Oriental S. N. Co. have received nothing at all in respect of the Bombay-Hongkong section, and are demand- ing payment here. The Colonial Government has paid the to- tal amount in full for the complete service to the London Post Office. The Post Office has drawn for the complete service but has neither paid the Company nor refunded the amount overdrawn.
